Salary: £33,630, – £37,002 inclusive of all allowances

Full Time: 37 hours per week

Job Description

The role  

The Operative Ranger is the frontline face of our open spaces.  They are critical to ensuring a safe, welcoming customer experience to all users and in maintaining the high standards required for the Green Flag Award and other nationally recognised standards. The Operative Ranger will play a dynamic role in supporting existing teams in keeping our parks clean and safe, engaging with visitors and community groups, continuing with the upkeep of sports pitches and facilities, and supporting events and entertainment across the space.   

The ideal Candidate  

You will have a full clean driving licence. You have a good understanding of Health & Safety within a work environment. You have the relevant certification to operate machinery and tools. You will have demonstrable experience working in a fast-paced open spaces environment. You have good communication skills, can follow company policies and procedures, and provide accurate updates to your line manager both written and verbal. You show initiative and work well in a team. You are flexible, calm under pressure and have a can-do approach to working outdoors.
