Job Description

Working within the Sustainability team, your role will be to support Grosvenor’s understanding of key data relating to its social and environmental performance. This includes data on carbon, waste, nature and topics related to social impact. You will do this by analysing sustainability data alongside other commercial data sets (including energy consumption, waste etc.). A key part of your role will be improving the accuracy and accessibility of our data by creating and monitoring existing dashboards for internal and external stakeholders.  Your insights will help inform our strategies and drive continuous improvement in our sustainability efforts.
Summary

The post holder will complete the L4 Data Analyst apprentice course which is estimated to be 20% of the role. The majority of learning will be ‘on the job’ through day-to-day responsibilities of the role and the remainder will be through independent learning, coursework and projects led by the Apprenticeship training provider.

Data Insights:

 Use statistical tools and software to analyse data, identify trends, and generate insights related to energy consumption and sustainability performance.
 To support the creation of regular reporting for the London Estate and Operations teams.
 To provide content for ad hoc internal reporting.
 To create new dashboards improving the visualisation of tenant and other big data sets.

Data Collection and Management:

 To identify data that is incomplete or incorrect and suggest opportunities for process improvements and strategies to enhance data collection and analysis methods.
 To support the Sustainability Insight Team in the roll out of new technologies to improve data accuracy.

Reporting:

 Prepare and present reports, dashboards, and visualisations to communicate findings to stakeholders, including senior management and sustainability teams. Particularly for the London Estate and Operations teams.

Collaboration:

 Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, facilities management, and sustainability officers, to ensure data accuracy and support sustainability projects.
 Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and recommend strategies to enhance data collection and analysis methods.

Day-to-Day Activities:

 Collecting and validating data from various sources.
 Analysing data to identify patterns and trends.
 Creating visualisations and dashboards to present data insights.
 Collaborating with team members to support sustainability projects.
 Preparing reports and presentations for stakeholders.
 Participating in team meetings and training sessions.

Desired Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, and visualisation software (e.g., Power BI, Tableau). As well as the Microsoft suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook etc.). • Basic understanding of sustainability concepts and energy management. • Excellent communication and teamwork skills. • Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment. • Experience of using PowerBI would be an advantage. • An enthusiasm for sustainability would be an advantage.

Qualifications required

To be considered for this role, you must have a C/4 grade in both GCSE Maths & English, and in three or four other subjects at least.

Fixed term contract, following apprenticeship the individual can apply for roles within Grosvenor.
