The successful candidate will be responsible for leading, managing and developing a curriculum area within the department and will work collaboratively and innovatively with staff to lead a culture of self-assessment and continuous improvement, promoting high standards of teaching and learning within the area, leading to high levels of student achievement, progression and value added. The Team Leader acts as Lead Internal Verifier and ensures all quality assurance procedures are fully complied with. They will actively ensure a high quality of provision in response to student and employer/industry needs and promote new ways of teaching.

The ideal candidate will have a HND, degree, or similar in relevant discipline. Experience of working in the Agriculture, Arboriculture or Environment Conservation industry is essential and industry-related competency tickets would be beneficial.
