This is an exciting opportunity to begin a career in horticulture with Grosvenor Property UK, one of the UK’s leading property companies driving a strong sustainability and biodiversity agenda.

As an apprentice, you’ll play a hands-on role in maintaining and developing some of London’s most iconic green spaces, including historic garden squares and biodiverse urban landscapes  .

About the Role

You’ll work as part of a professional horticulture team, supporting the care and development of high-quality public green spaces.

This includes:

Maintaining and improving garden squares and landscaped areas
Supporting biodiversity and sustainable planting schemes
Assisting with planting, pruning, and general grounds maintenance
Contributing to the development of urban green infrastructure

Most of your learning will take place on the job, building real skills in a live working environment.

Training & Qualification

Level 2 Horticulture or Landscape Operative Apprenticeship
Delivered in partnership with a training provider (e.g. Capel Manor College)
Combination of practical work and structured learning

You’ll develop skills in:

Plant care and maintenance
Soil health and cultivation
Use of tools and machinery
Biodiversity and environmental management

This qualification is equivalent to GCSE level and typically takes around 2 years to complete  .
