Salary: £13.85 / hour
Contract: Fixed Term, Full Time
Hours: 40 hrs/week, including alternate weekends

Job Description

Join Glendale’s team as a Mobile Cleansing Operative, helping to keep Lewisham’s parks and green spaces clean, safe, and welcoming. This role involves working outdoors, carrying out tasks such as litter picking, bin emptying, weeding, and general maintenance across the borough.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Maintaining cleanliness in parks and open spaces

• Collecting litter and emptying bins

• Weed control and minor vegetation management

• Completing ad-hoc assignments as needed

• Working safely in all weather & following Glendale’s health & safety practices

About You

• You enjoy working outside and are self-motivated

• You hold a full, valid UK driving licence (essential for this mobile role)

• You have strong awareness of safe working standards

• Experience in cleansing, grounds maintenance, or waste management is helpful but not required — we’ll provide training
