Job Description

What you will achieve;

Your overall role is to manage workload across the nationwide Ecology team including the following;

  • Logging all enquiries and approved jobs prior to allocation of work
  • Working with the Principal Ecologists when planning work allocation across the team
  • Keeping the resource tracker up to date so it reflects the current allocation of resources
  • Liaising with subcontractors and booking them for specific jobs
  • Raising PO’s and dealing with any invoicing queries
  • Supporting with financial reporting and analysis of sale reports
  • Updating the sales financial tracker for all jobs including billing details
  • Ad hoc admin to support the team when required with booking meetings

Who are we looking for?

This an interesting and varied project coordination role which would suit someone with a solid admin background especially focusing on commercial data, spreadsheets and scheduling. An interest in ecology and the environment is a benefit but is not essential.

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A keen understanding of all Microsoft packages especially Excel and this will form a large part of your role therefore IT skills are essential.
  • A proactive approach to your work with the ability to respond quickly when changing work load dictates it
  • A great attention to detail especially when dealing with financial data
  • Strong organisational skills as well as the ability to plan phased work over differing timescales
  • Excellent people relations skills so you are able to manage mainly internal stakeholders within the Ecology team
