Job Description
The Investment Property Group (IPG) of the City of London Corporation is recruiting a highly motivated Senior Sustainability Manager on a fixed term basis to develop and deliver sustainability initiatives, including the targets of the City of London Corporation’s Climate Action Strategy.
Taking responsibility for enhancing the sustainability performance of our assets under management, you will develop and execute sustainability strategies for IPG, ensuring alignment with both short and long-term investment goals. This will include both the decarbonisation of the properties and development of green building strategies, which will utilise renewable energy systems, water conservation initiatives and waste reduction programmes.
With exceptional communication skills, you will ideally have experience of working with various stakeholders, including asset managers, external consultants and tenants to deliver sustainability-related projects. A comprehensive knowledge of mechanical and electrical building systems is essential. The capacity to interpret data to identify where improvements can be made will also be crucial to being able to proactively assist the IPG team in meeting environmental targets.
This new role is being offered on a fixed term basis expiring on 31st March 2027.
