Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Job Enquiry Set-Up: Efficiently manage and organize tree work and survey enquiries to ensure timely and accurate responses.
  • Job Set-Up and Allocation: Coordinate job setups, allocate resources, and manage the team calendar to optimize productivity.
  • TPO/Conservation Area Checks: Conduct thorough Tree Preservation Order (TPO) and conservation area checks.
  • TPO/Conservation Area Applications: Prepare and submit applications related to TPOs and conservation areas.
  • Subcontractor Management: Handle the instruction and purchase order management for subcontractors.
  • Invoicing: Process invoices accurately and timely.
  • Financial Data Analysis: Perform financial data analysis to support budgeting and financial planning.
  • Support to Tree Work Manager and Resource Coordinator: Provide direct administrative and operational support to the Tree Work Manager and Resource Coordinator.
  • General Administration Duties: Perform a variety of general administrative tasks to support the team.
  • Client Coordination: Liaise with clients, ensuring their needs are met and their questions are answered.
  • Quotation Follow-Ups: Follow up on sent quotations to maximize the conversion rate of quotes into confirmed projects.

The person;

This role is perfect for someone wanting to get their first experience of an office environment but if you have any previous experience in an administrative or support role this would be ideal

Whatever your current role you will need;

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills
  • An interest in our natural environment
  • Grades 4 / C in Maths and English
