Project: To lead net zero and energy management projects to enable clients to achieve their net zero targets.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Undertaking energy and carbon audits and options appraisals Conduct sites visits to identify energy efficiency and low carbon projects to support net zero
  • Supporting Heat Decarbonisation appraisals and development of heat Decarbonisation Plans.
  • Identifying energy demand reduction and load shifting opportunities within clients.
  • Support development of net zero roadmaps for clients.
  • Providing technical support to other MACE teams and projects.
  • Keeping up to date with low carbon technology innovations.
  • Supporting the design and implementation of toolkits and processes to ensure a continual improvement of service.
  • Being aware and familiar with building services and interventions that can support net zero delivery.
  • Keeping up to date with innovation in low carbon technologies and legislation impacting on net zero delivery.
  • Supporting the upskilling and development of incoming graduates.
  • Being comfortable with client management and discussing often complex project with non-experts.
  • Supporting team projects across RB across a wide range of sectors.

About you

You have knowledge of practical experience of undertaking energy and carbon audits and options appraisals. You will have technical expertise in Decarbonisation appraisals and development of Heat Decarbonisation Plans. You are confident in undertaking heat demand modelling and complex carbon project calculation. You are a confident and engaging communicator, articulate and open, and comfortable when representing the company and clients in a public forum, attending internal and external events to represent and raise the profile of Mace and the practice group.
