About Us:

Sterling Landscapes has been dedicated to transforming and maintaining gardens across London for 40 years. Our journey towards sustainability has led us to adopt practices such as using electric cargo bikes, localised composting, and native planting schemes. We’re proud to partner with initiatives like PedalMe and Trees for Bermondsey, and we’re excited about our upcoming range of natural, locally produced uniforms!

The Role:

We are seeking enthusiastic and environmentally-conscious gardeners to join our team as Cycling Gardeners. In this role, you will ride our electric cargo bikes to maintain and enhance gardens across London. This position is ideal for those who are passionate about plants, nature, and sustainable practices, and who thrive in an outdoor work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and develop gardens using eco-friendly practices.
• Operate and manage an electric cargo bike and a full set of gardening equipment.
• Work independently and manage your schedule efficiently.
• Engage with local communities and contribute to our sustainability initiatives.

What We’re Looking For:

• Gardening Expertise: Proven knowledge and experience in gardening with the ability to work independently.
• Organizational Skills: Ability to manage and maintain an e-cargo bike and gardening tools.
• Physical Fitness: High level of strength and stamina to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Local Proximity: Living close to London to ensure efficient travel between gardens.

Pay:

Competitive pay of up to £35,000 per annum, depending on experience.
